Terrible Taxidermy
Dead animals stuffed with sand is kind of a grim concept. I don't know who came up with it but I'll wager they wet the bed well into their twenties. Strangely enough taxidermy actually gets better, the worse it gets. Observe;

It was called Haboob and it descended on the desert city of Phoenix, Arizonia like a plague from the heavens, dropping visibilities to near zero and coating surfaces with a gritty later of dust and sand. Hell is coming people.

Back in the fifties before they had photoshop they used to use paint. Not MSPaint, actual paint. Crazy huh? Still, it beats the alternative - a realistic depiction of female beauty in the media. That'd be terrible.

A bunch of sweet-ass CGI concepts Some look familiar and plausable while others look like something straight out of an L. Ron Hubbard religion. Nice to see that even with budget cuts the NASA boys are still daring to dream.
